Aluminum Foil Tape


Aluminum foil for tape is an aluminum foil tape commonly used in electronic products. The aluminum foil tape is made of high-quality pressure-sensitive adhesive, which has the advantages of good adhesion, strong adhesion, airtightness, anti-aging and good heat preservation performance.

Aluminum foil tape is mainly used for the wrapping of cold (hot) gas pipelines, and is generally used for cold (warm) gas projects and water heater manufacturers. The aluminum foil tape alloys commonly used in the industry are in the state of 1235 and 8011. The production process is not the same according to different performance requirements.

First of all, the composition of aluminum foil tape 1235 alloy is different from that of 8011 alloy. The annealing temperature of 1235 alloy is lower than that of 8011 alloy, but the annealing time is basically the same. The difference between the finished aluminum foil tape 1235 alloy and the 8011 alloy is slightly different. The tensile strength of the 8011 alloy is higher than the tensile strength of the 1235 alloy. At the same time, the elongation of the 8011 alloy is slightly higher than that of the 1235 alloy.

Secondly, the aluminum foil tape is divided into soft and hard states, namely H18 and O state. The hard aluminum foil tape production process does not require annealing, but sometimes it requires baking oil, and the soft aluminum foil tape needs to be annealed to make it soft. There are more aluminum foil tapes on the market using 1235/O alloys.

Finally, the aluminum foil tape is divided into single-sided light and double-sided light, and single-sided light generally requires a bright surface. The production process of single-sided light is more complicated, mainly in the rolling process. Single-sided light needs to open, split, and roll the finished product, and the roll needs to be changed several times; the rolling process of double-sided light is relatively simple. The thick material can directly open the blank to the finished product without changing the roll. If it is a thin material, the roll needs to be replaced, and the production process is long.
